EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
The Executive of the Year Award is the highest honor bestowed by PIMA, traditionally
presented to senior-level executives in the pulp, paper, or converting industries for
excellence in management and outstanding contributions to the industry as a whole.
The Executive of the Year is not required to be a PIMA member.

Mill Managers
|
MILL MANAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Mill Manager of the Year Award recognizes the mill manager who has
best demonstrated outstanding leadership, management, and organizational
skills leading to improved results at the facility for which he or she is
responsible. Nominees for this award are judged on four criteria:
skill in people development; application of best management practices;
effective use of external resources; and change management. The Mill Manager
of the Year is not required to be a PIMA member.

Papermakers
|
BROOKSHIRE MOORE SUPERINTENDENT OF THE YEAR
Recognizes the mill superintendent who has shown high personal standards and professional
management qualities that contribute to the betterment of those under their management and
in their company. The Superintendent of the Year is not required to be a PIMA member.

IT Leaders
|
IT MANAGER OF THE YEAR
The purpose of this award is to recognize a member of a technology or
IT team from a paper or paper converting company who has best demonstrated
outstanding leadership, management, innovation or organizational skills
leading to improved results for their company. Nominees for this award
are judged on four criteria: (1) effective team development and organization;
(2) innovation in leveraging system solutions for results; (3) effective
management practices; and (4) effective use change management.
**This award is only available to employees of a paper company.

Community Service by a Paper Company Employee
|
RAY H. CROSS COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
This award pays tribute to pulp and paper industry persons who have rendered outstanding
service to their communities by involvement in the activities of local business,
educational, civic and philanthropic organizations. The recipient must be a PIMA member.

Service by a Supplier
|
THOMAS F. SHEERIN, SR. SERVICE AWARD
The Thomas F. Sheerin, Sr., Service Award is presented to a supplier for outstanding
contributions to the pulp and paper industry and/or the community. The recipient must
be a PIMA member.

Service to a PIMA Division
|
DELANO L. DEL BOUTIN DIVISION SERVICE AWARD
The Del Boutin Division Service Award is presented to pulp and paper or affiliate members
for devoted service to a PIMA Division. The award seeks to
recognize long-term dedication of PIMA members at the local division level.
The recipient must be a PIMA member.

Service by an IT Affiliate/Supplier
|
MICHAEL P. JOHNSON IT AFFILIATE AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize an IT affiliate for outstanding
support of PIMA and outstanding contribution to the pulp and paper industry.
Nominees for this award are judged on two main criteria: (1) Affiliate
PIMA-IT supporter and contributor who has made a substantial contribution
to the pulp and paper industry and (2) Actively involved in leveraging
information technology to improve pulp and paper business and manufacturing
processes. |

Service to a PIMA Specialist Group
|
KENNETH H. PHILLIPS SPECIALIST GROUP AWARD
This award recognizes outstanding service by a member of one of PIMA's
Specialist Group committees. It may be presented to a PIMA
member from a mill or affiliate company. The recipient must be a PIMA member.

Paper Science Students
|
STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize and support outstanding students
enrolled in paper science programs. Winning student will be
recognized with a $500 cash award as well as a $500 gift to his or her
schools PIMA student chapter. The recipient must be a PIMA member.
